Forced to list as a Handyman, please read! (All South Florida) | I am forced to list my services as a handyman, the truth is I am a highly skilled carpenter/builder who refuses to pay the ridiculous amount of mony required by the state of Florida to get licensed. I would have to charge 40% more money to clients just to cover the cost of being licensed and insured. what I do in most cases when a client needs to feel more comfortable is take a temporary policy for the specific job passing the savings along to my client. Permits are not a problem since you can pull them yourself.
I have over 35 years of experience and can perform absolutley anything and everything in your home or office. I take the liberty to sound a bit self centered and egotistical by saying I have found very few licensed contractors who can compete with me at my skill level. I do not work "cheap" but I am way under the cost of a licensed guy. If you are looking to pay $10 or $15 bucks an hour, please call the local wanna be guy who will destroy your project and force you to call me to repair his damages and unskilled mess.
